I am trying to build a checkout experience via Whatsapp. I am not able to complete the checkout, I am keep getting the payment gateway invalid error. any help would be appreciated.
I am using a custom app’s credentials to do this, should I create a public app from partner portal?

Hi @nithinraj - you’re absolutely correct! You would need to create a public app through the partner portal in order to be eligible to access our Payments API. There’s a bit more of an overview in our documentation here on this, but the main reason for the requirement is that certain scopes required by apps using our Payment API are only available as a “public” app, regardless if it appears on our app store or as a publicly listed payment gateway.
