Checkout Extension GA4 tracking

Hello everyone,

We set up GA4 ecommerce tracking by adding script in checkout.liquid file for a Shopify Plus store, all events are working fine currently. Now we are planning to upgrade to checkout extension and add the same script for google analytics tracking. Since, I am new to this, I am not sure how or where we can add the same script for the checkout extension so that it works perfectly like it is working in the checkout.liquid now. Is there any risk/issue that I might face for this?

Ok forgot to check back in for a while, but the best solution I could come up with was migrating the GA4 code into a custom pixel. This at least seems to work with the events I wanted to track.

Do you mind sharing how and what you did to migrate the GA4 code to the custom pixel? I’ve tried myself using their available tutorials, but our marketing team says that they see no information being passed through. So, maybe I missed I missed a step or entered something wrong.
