Checkout UI extension - Customize CartLine

Hello,

I need some help as e are migrating our checkout.liquid to Checkout UI Extension.

Depending on the properties of the LineItem, I want to customize the rendering or even hide the LineItem.

How can I achieve it? I browse into the different documentations/forums but I didn’t seem to find the answer yet.

Now we are doing it on checkout.liquid and it’s about to be deprecated/deleted.
Can I still use checkout.liquid even after the end of it (end of June) or can I do it in an checkout UI extension?
I didn’t find any resources about it.

So I need to create an app extension type 'Checkout UI`. But which target should I use to be able to handle the LineItem html.
I understand that I add html through the lineItem.after. But my main concern is about hiding the whole line item
