Choosing two different color options on one product

I am selling headbands that are handknit. They can come in one or two different colors. How do i allow the customer to choose two different colors? RIght now we are allowing customers to choose one color on the item and then add a comment to choose the other color. Please help!

Colors, sizes, and flavors are known as variants.

When you create the product, scroll down to the “Variant” section. Add Variant such as Color, add the different colors. This will create options on the product page, where the customer can choose which color they want.

Yes. I know this. I have 30 different colors they can choose from but I need them to be able to select two different colors. Through the variants, they are not allowing me to choose “colors” two times in order to have two of the 30 colors picked.

So you want the customer to able to choose more than one variant?. That would be a bundle. There are lots of bundle apps. Check the app store.

Or you mean you want 2 different variant options, both colors, and the customer selects one of each? That just requires you to create a separate variant option. Example. Shirt color and graphic color. Each option would have their own colors to select. Alternatively, if you want you can have a variant color combination option, like Red/Blue, Green/Orange.

Because you only choose ONE value from the set for an OPTION.
If it must be one plural characteristic, then just live EVERY possible combination; e.g. Red+Green.

To have different choices of values form DIFFERENT options, have more than one option.
Option1: Color 1 Red
Option2: Color 2 Green

Not “Colors” that only applies if you do combined values e.g. Red/Green, Orange/Blue in the sets for one Option you call “Colors”

note: this is the exact thing 2k variants helps with now

Hi @user2823

You can use our Easify Product Options app to set this up easily .
The app is very easy to use and works perfectly for customized or handmade products like your headbands!

You can create two separate color selectors — one for Color 1 and another for Color 2, so customers can choose both directly on the product page instead of leaving a note.

  • This is the products:

  • This is the app setting:

To make sure the second color option only appears when customers select “2” as the number of colors, simply go to Advanced Settings and set up Conditional Logic like this. This way, your customers can easily choose between 1 or 2 colors.

This app is very straightforward and works perfectly for customizable products. Reach out to Easify if you need any assistance!

Hi,

Hope this will help

  • Need inventory & images per combo? Use two variant options: “Color 1” + “Color 2.”

  • Need simple flexibility with lots of colors? Add a line item property (dropdown or textbox) named properties[Second color] via Customize → Custom liquid.

  • Want swatches/logic/add-on price? Use a product options app.

Either way, your customer can pick two different colors cleanly—no more comment-box confusion.

Hello @user2823,
I hope you are doing well. For letting customers choose two different colors for a single headband, the simplest approach is to set up two color selection options on the product. Each option will let the customer pick one color, so they can choose a single or mixed combination without leaving comments.

If your current theme or setup does not support multiple color pickers, you can do it using the Product Option feature in the Inkybay Product Personalizer App. It lets you add two separate color selectors, and you can display them as dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, or swatches. Customers can also see a live preview of the color choices as they customize the product.

You can add other option types as well, like text fields or file uploads, and all selected details are automatically included in the order file. This makes it easy to process each custom headband order.

Here is a sample image so you can see how the setup looks on a product page. If you want, I can also share a demo product so you can explore it directly.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you want guidance on setting up the color options.

Hello @user2823,

You can use the MultiVariants-Bulk Order app to achieve this.

You can show all the variants on the product page and your customers can choose two different colors from the available color variants. They can select the quantities and add the variants to the cart within a single click.
