I was reviewing the Shopify documentation and came across the following information:
The REST Admin API is a legacy API as of October 1, 2024. All apps and integrations should be built with the GraphQL Admin API . For details and migration steps, visit our migration guide .
It appears that Shopify is transitioning from the REST Admin API to the GraphQL Admin API. We already have several integrations built using REST. Could you please clarify the following points:
- Do we need to migrate our existing integrations to GraphQL immediately?
- Will the REST API continue to be supported, and if so, until when?
Understanding this will help us plan accordingly for future updates and ensure smooth operations.
