Cleaning leftover app code for a faster Shopify store

Hello everyone,

I launched my Shopify store about three months ago, but unfortunately, I haven’t generated many sales yet. While reviewing my store’s performance, I ran a report using Google PageSpeed Insights and discovered that my website speed scores are quite poor.

As a result, I’m considering performing a cleanup of any leftover code from previously uninstalled Shopify apps, as I suspect this may be affecting my store’s performance. My store URL is https://lahiriplaza.in.

At the moment, my store receives approximately 2,244 sessions per month, but I’m concerned that the site’s speed and overall user experience may be impacting conversions.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, recommendations, or feedback you can provide regarding performance optimization, conversion improvements, or any other areas that could help increase sales and improve the customer experience.

Thank you very much for your time and support. I truly appreciate any guidance you can share.

I didn’t find the pageload so bad. I imagine that the conversion rate is due to lack of trust. Too many ai or not real looking images for a POD site. You might also benefit from more visible reviews.

Search this forum for something like “low conversion” or “not selling” and you’ll find a lot of threads with golden tips inside.

Should you need any help with anything, I’m only a quick message away.

All the best with your success!
