Is there a way in Shopify to revert theme code back to original? I’m working on an old website that had many apps installed and removed, but there is a lot of old code left behind. Is there an easy way to reinstall a theme does does it remove all added code?

You can do that from your Online Store > Themes > in your current theme, click “…” > Edit code, open all files that have a black cycle next to them, and revert your file to the original.
Please note that this action will also remove any custom codes you have added for specific customizations.

To undo or remove the app code from your theme file and restore it to the original version, follow these steps:
- Go to your Online Store.
- Click on Themes in your current theme.
- Select the ellipsis (…) and choose Edit code.
- Open all files with a black cycle next to them.
- Revert these files to their original state.
Please be aware that any custom code you’ve added for specific customizations will be removed as well.
