We’ve built a store on Dawn because it’s lean and clean. It has almost everything we want, except for 2 customizations people seem to search all the time on this forum…but none of the solutions I’ve found are working for us.
Our website hasn’t launched yet, so I’m sharing screenshots instead of the domain. Also, we’re kind of flexible on how we resolve each issue; for either, we’re looking for the route that’s easiest to code.
- Our homepage is currently 5 rows of 3-column Multicolumn sections. Each column links to a different Collection. We’d like to make either a) the entire space of each Multicolumn column, or b) at least the image, clickable to the same destination as the link at the bottom of each column.
Note that I’ve hidden the overall button and header for each Multicolumn section and tweaked the code to add hot-linked buttons (instead of the default hot-linked text) to the bottom of each column.
- On the Collection pages, when a price for a product is zero, we’d like the price field to say, “Contact for pricing” instead of $0.00. (It’s easy to hide pricing on the product page—what am I missing on the Collections page that makes it so tricky to customize the product info?) If this is too much to ask, we’re fine hiding all prices from Collections.
