Is there a recommended way to do clothing drops where the home landing page shows a countdown and other info (no other pages) then when the countdown ends, the landing page switches to the real homepage? I don’t need help with the countdown. Just seeing if there is a way to automate this.
Example - new clothing drop at 2pm Saturday. before 2pm the countdown page shows, at 2pm it switches to the main store.
I see people putting the site into password mode to hide product pages and using the password page as the countdown landing page but the homepage in this case redirects to domain.com/password is password mode is on.
Can product pages be hidden without turning on password mode?
It looks like the only way to achieve the countdown–>store landing page change is to use one theme for the password/coming soon page then switch to the main store theme manually when the countdown finishes.
