Issue: Product COA entries stored in a Shopify metafield are visible in the admin (Edit product > COA section) but no longer display on the storefront. Previously they showed correctly; now they don’t.
Context: Metafields are custom data fields used to store and show extra product information in themes. Shopify chat support suggested a coder might be needed to surface the COA on the live theme.
Latest update: A community member asked for the store link to investigate further.
Status: No resolution yet. Key unknowns: whether a recent theme change, setting, or code update removed the metafield rendering; and how the COA was previously integrated (theme section, liquid code, or app). Discussion remains open.
My shopify chat support says we may need a coder to have the COA’s attached to each product.
I am unsure why - all the COA’s were visible before and now they arn’t. any help ?
they show up when i hit edit product there is a COA section but it doesn’t show up when I view the store.
