Hello,
Hopefully someone can help me! I’m working on a freelance project and my client gave me Admin collaborator rights. However, the only thing I can’t do is add Apps to their site. Attached is the error message I get. Is there any trick or solution to get around this error?
Thanks!
Hi, @Abster22
Did you request full access when you requested the collaborator account? You can ask the account owner to double check the permissions set. They’ll need to make sure that they’ve given you the ability to manage and install apps and channels, as well as potentially approve app charges.
The collaborator permissions available are the same permissions that are listed on our staff permissions page.
Let us know how this goes!
Hi @Hilary_3 ,
Thanks for the reply! I’ll reach out to my client and double check the permissions as well as the manage/install apps and channels and approve app charges.
I’ll let you know how it goes!
Thanks!
Abby
Happy to help. Great, please do let us know how it goes!
Hi Hilary,
I am trying to add Zapier to my customer’s Shopify store and it’s giving me the following error:
“aOauth error invalid_request: Your account does not have permission to grant the requested access for this app. You may be able to resolve this issue by installing the app as the account owner”
I have checked the permission for my collaborator account and I have manage and install apps and channels, as well as approve app charges selected, but I’m still getting this error. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
