All of a sudden, when I go to type in the collection when adding a new product, it says “collection does not yet exist” but it definitely does. I went into the collections to double check that it was still there and it is, all of the products are still in the collection, it’s all showing on the site, so I have no idea what’s happened. Any idea?
-
Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes browser cache and cookies can interfere with the way Shopify loads data. Clearing these can help to resolve the issue.
-
Try a different browser: If clearing your cache and cookies doesn’t work, try logging into your Shopify store using a different browser to see if the issue persists.
-
Check that the collection handle is correct: Double-check that the handle for the collection is correct. The handle is the URL-friendly version of the collection name, and it’s what you need to enter when adding a product to the collection. If you accidentally changed the handle, it could cause the issue you’re experiencing.
-
Check that the collection is published: Make sure the collection is set to “published.” If a collection is unpublished, products cannot be added to it.
None of this works. We have about 20 collections. Only 3 options show up in the product listing. All collections are active.
Any success with this yet? I’m having trouble too.
