SOLVED: I was able to edit this in the Customize theme by clicking on Featured Collection then Theme Settings and changing the Scaling style.
All of my images for collections get cropped to be square images. I want them to be rectangular so the entire image of the paintings show up. The paintings are 4x3 ratio of width to height.
