Can someone help please. I keep setting manual sort order for products in a collection but it just reverts to some random selection within 5,10 minutes by itself.

We face the same issue here in one of our collections.
We set the collection to be sorted manually but after a few minutes goes back to “Newest”.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Bump.
Yet another annoying Shopify bug that shows they clearly test nothing.
Add it to the ever growing list, including inserting blog images no longer allowing size changes before inserting, adding an extra step to every single image insert.
