Collection Point Dropdown- UPS Access or Royal Mail Click and Collect

Apologies if I’m missing a thread on this somewhere else, but I’ve been looking for days to no avail!

Since covid a lot of our customers are requesting the ability to have their order shipped to a collection locker or post office where they can retrieve it at their convenience. I know there are tools available on the courier sites to find the nearest valid shipping location to the customer, but what I want to find is some way to integrate this with our checkout process.

So, rather than having to go and look for an address, the customer would be able to select ‘deliver to collection address’ and be presented with a list of valid ones within a zip/postcode range. We ship from the UK internationally using Royal Mail, DHL or UPS but at this stage I’m predominantly interested in domestic and USA customers who require a collection option.

Any help or guidance for a different way of searching for an answer would be really appreciated!

To the best of my knowledge, the option to select a pick-up point at checkout is currently unavailable for Royal Mail, DHL, or UPS.

Shopify has recently introduced a pick-up point feature for Collisimo and Mondial Relay.

Additionally, PluginHive has introduced the FedEx Hold At location and Postnord Service Point options, and we will soon be releasing the UPS Access Point feature. Please note that this option is provided at the Cart page and not at the checkout. Enhancements to the checkout page through an app are limited to Shopify Plus plans.

We hope that in the future, you will have a wider range of options available for pick-up points.

Thanks @Mirdas - I thought that might be the case but I’m glad you’ve confirmed it for me so I don’t waste any more time searching!
