Collections Menu not working well on mobile. Dawn Theme

I’m using collapsible menu on my store so when people hover the mouse over the collection it will show some subcollections, but also if they want to see the whole collection they can just click on it, but on mobile it doesn’t work like that, on mobile when someone clicks on the menu on the left and then click on the collection it will go to that subcollections option and i don’t want that, is there any way to set the code so on mobile when someone at the menu click on the collections they go straight to the collection page and when they click on the little arrow they go to the subcollections menu?
