I’ve been using Shopify since 2010, so I’m not new to this but lately I’m having some issues with collections. Two issues are as follows:
When I try to add a particular product to its proper collection, the collection will not show up in the collection list. I even made a new one, and it still won’t show up. There are lot of other products in the collection so I’m not sure why it suddenly isn’t showing in the list.
I have a different collection with the “smart” setting turned on, and it’s not adding any of the products to the collection. It’s definitely spelled correctly.
Is there a bug in my theme or an app interfering? All collections are in active mode and set to active in online store. I can’t think of why else this is happening. Any suggestions?
@Cara_Circuit you need to contact shopify support-advisor directly.
Others’ can’t diagnose this from the outside
Basic collection troublshooting 101 - reduce the number of products in the collection.
Make another collection with similar rules as a test for just those products.
clear your browser try a different browser.
etc etc etc.
If you need diagnostic services you can reach out to me or other service providers.
But if it’s a server issue we can’t fix the servers only spend time on corroborating the issue/steps .
I’ve already tried making a new collection and I have the same issues. Also, there are under 12 products in most collections. So, like you said, I’ll reach out to support. I don’t think it’s a cache issue since these collections are over a decade old and I’m just noticing the issues!
