I want to be able to add a boxed color background to the heading in the image with text overlay section. I want to be able to have different colors depending on the background image and I want to be able to change the opacity of the colored box.
Is that possible? I’ve attached an image of what it looks like now.

Can you share your URL to check it closer? It might require custom code on your theme to create an overlay box under your heading. However, I suggest you consider using a page builder app. It’s very easy to set up it without coding. This is a normal feature that can find on PageFly, GemPages,… You just need to drag and drop and adjust the styling value. You even can set the overlay color for your whole background image.
