Dear Shopify Support Team,
I am writing to you regarding an issue I’m experiencing with the translation of product option values on my Shopify store. I’m currently using the [Enterprise] theme but they have determined that the problem is not theme-related.
Specifically, I have a product option named “Color” with values such as “Black” and “White”. I have successfully uploaded a CSV file containing translations for these color option values into [Croatian & Slovenian languages]. I have also attempted to translate them using the Shopify Translate & Adapt app. Despite this, the translations are not being applied on the storefront. The original English color names continue to be displayed in the button selectors, even when browsing the store in Croatian or Slovenian.
I initially contacted my theme provider and they were unable to resolve the issue. They have confirmed that the problem is not caused by my theme because they weren’t able to translate product option values (color names) on a test store using the default Dawn theme.
I have taken extensive troubleshooting steps, including:

Verifying CSV Accuracy: I have confirmed that the translations are correctly included in my CSV file, with the “Option Value” column exactly matching the option values defined in Shopify, including capitalization and spacing.

Re-uploading the CSV: I have re-uploaded the CSV file with the “Overwrite existing translations” option selected.

Theme Translation Settings: I have added translations in the theme settings, specifically in the “Swatches” and “Color option name” sections, providing translations for each language, separated by commas.

Browser Cache Clearing: I have cleared my browser cache multiple times.

Theme File Inspection: I have examined my theme’s theme.liquid and main-product.liquid files and confirmed that there is no custom code overriding translations, and the main-product.liquid file utilizes the variant-picker snippet, as expected.
