Colorado Retailers, help! I can’t find any reference to this issue getting brought up previously, but that is shocking to me. The Colorado Retail Delivery Fee that was implemented July 2022 is not working correctly in Shopify for in-store pickup orders.
Per the state of Colorado FAQ (https://tax.colorado.gov/retail-delivery-fee

No, if a purchaser picks up the items at the retailer
The automatic fee in Shopify is charging it on local pickup delivery method orders. I’ve tried 7+ different apps to try to find a solution to do this correctly, but nothing has worked. We are on Advanced and not Plus and desperately need a solution. We cannot be collecting a fee illegally and can’t figure out why a) Shopify hasn’t fixed this to be correct and b) no one else has brought this up or had another solution to solve it.
