I recently updated my colour swatches and have somenproducts that have two colour variants. so i used canva to make a picture to represent the two colours on a product and then inserted them onto the variants after connecting the metafields however the pictures are not appearing. how can i fix this?

Doesn’t actually mean anything to others we can’t see your store, nor what steps you’ve take, nor which theme you are using etc etc etc.
Is that explicitly for the swatches, i.e. you are following some doc.. which document.. from shopify from the theme developers..
Are you using an app, etc etc who knows we aren’t mind readers.
You have the info in front put in the effort to provide DETAIL to others without others having to extract it from you.
Poor communication leads to business failure take it seriously.

This may be relevant – for most modern themes you need to create your product options based on Category metafields to show swatches, like this:

If I understand correctly, you’re trying to create color swatches for products that combine two colors, using images designed in Canva and connected through metafields. However, the images aren’t appearing on the storefront as expected.
An alternative approach you might consider is using Easify Product Options.

Instead of relying on metafields, you can simply create a Color Option directly in the app and use the Color Swatch display type. For two-tone color combinations such as Black/White or Blue/Pink, you can assign two colors to a single swatch, allowing customers to clearly visualize the color combination directly on the product page.

If you want to add new color combinations or update existing ones in the future, you can do everything directly within the app without having to modify metafields or make theme adjustments.
If your goal is to display multi-color swatches in a clean and user-friendly way, especially for products with two-color combinations, this could be a much simpler and more reliable solution to consider.
