Combine Collective & General Shipping Charges

I am connected to multiple suppliers on Collective and have been selling for over a year on this platform. I have continuously struggle with shipping charges. I want to charge customers a flat shipping fee no matter the supplier and I want this to also include products I hold in stock. Like $5 flat shipping on all order under $100 type of rate. My understanding from reading all available information I could find on the topic was that was the only way to configure flat rate shipping across all products in my shop is to add all suppliers to the general shipping profile. This worked perfectly until recently when the Collective profile started popping up again nightly. It still works fine when I delete it, but I would prefer not to have to do that every night at 10PM. Does anyone know how to configure flat rate shipping across all Collective suppliers AND my own products? I can’t be the only one who wants this feature. Thanks

Hey @KHR11 first of all do not delete the collective profile here is the best and proper way to solved this issue
so first move collective products out of the collective profile so go to setting ---->shipping and delivery
find the shopify collective managed profile
move all collective products variants to your general/default shipping profile or a custom flat rate profile you control

also if this solution is work then don’t forget to like and mark as solution on it

Moving Collective products into a custom profile does not solve the problem. My own products are still in a separate general profile, which results in two shipping fees. I already have all my Collective suppliers in my general profile, but again the Collective shipping profile returns daily.

Hello @KHR11

You’re on the right track but it’s important to note Collective shipping profiles will always re-sync as they are managed at the supplier level. The reliable way to get a true flat rate for everything is to have separate Collective profiles, and one main general profile for your own products and then override rates at checkout with a shipping app or custom carrier rule layer.

A lot of partners handle this with a shipping rules app that disregards origin-based profiles and enforces cart-based thresholds like your $5 under $100. It prevents nightly profile conflicts while keeping Collective intact.

The solution I found was to create a custom shipping profile with both Collective and all of my products in it. I have a lot of products so this took me forever to create, but it seems to be working. I will have to take the additional step to add every new Collective and owned product to this profile moving forward.
