Coming Soon page - issue with different resolutions/ devices + external themes

Hi there,

I am using pagefly to setup the coming soon page. I have done different graphics in canva, uploaded to pagefly and recognized that the resolution on different devices looks bad. I am not sure whether its related to a focal point or if I do in generel something wrong.

However, then I decided to take one of the pagefly templates, publish it right away. Recognized that it also doesnt looks nice. If i open it on desktop, then there is a white bar below the graphics. Same problem what I had with my own graphics.

Maybe its normal, but in terms of design not really nice. I also had the itention to show at least one picture of my product. Therefore just a background color doesnt help.

I thought it should be possible that the graphics/ background image adjust to the size of the window - but same time you can manage a nice layout for the smartphone.

Below a screenshot how the template looks like in the desktop browser.

So then I was looking for templates at envanto. But I guess those are not compatible with shopify or?

e.g.: https://themeforest.net/item/imbue-classy-coming-soon-and-landing-page-template/23213150

https://mixdesign.club/themeforest/imbue/index-light-countdown-daysonly-kenburns.html

But thats basically how I want it to look like. the graphics/ layout adjust automatically the the size of the browser.

@DaveD - can you please share this page link?

@suyash1 . which one? the page from the screenshot? link removed

as written, this is the default template from pagefly.

@DaveD - please ad this css to the very end of your theme.css file and check

.template-password .__pf_Vj3DuvNM .pf-2_{min-height: 100vh;}

thank you so much. It is working now for desktop. If you reduze the size of the browser window then the image is a bit stretched, same as on the smartphone but still better than before. Thanks again.

But can you tell me whether such themes can be implemented in shopify as well?

e.g.: https://themeforest.net/item/imbue-classy-coming-soon-and-landing-page-template/23213150

https://mixdesign.club/themeforest/imbue/index-light-countdown-daysonly-kenburns.html

@DaveD - it can be implemented, I think those pages are created with complex javascript coding to adjust height

I recommend to use built in shopify pages only rather than adding completely external page as password page
