We’re preparing to release Shopify POS version 10.0 in mid-April, and we want to help you get ready. This update includes several design and usability improvements designed to enhance your in-store experience. Below, you’ll find an overview of what to expect and how these changes can benefit your business.
Here is what you can expect- Revamped Navigation Bar: The navigation bar will now be positioned vertically on the left side of the Home screen, making it easier to access key workflows like Register, Lock Screen, and Connectivity.

New Inline Search Results: Enhanced search functionality will deliver results specific to the active tab you are on, including Products, Orders, and Customers. Draft orders will also be searchable.

Visual Design Enhancements: The updated design offers a more intuitive user experience. Staff will be able to see more line items in the cart view, the total on the checkout button, and new cart headings for orders.

Brand Theming: Customize your customer-facing display with engaging media content, brand colors, and visuals for a unified and impactful customer experience.
