Commerce manager and ads manager

Hello everyone,
I am in need of some guidance and help here.
I am trying to work out the ads manager and the recent auto update to FB commerce manager. My campaign using the ads manager does not work as the pixel was “inactive”. My FB commerce manager is working and is measuring the data such as visits to landing page.
Can I just use the recent FB commerce manager for my campaigns?
Can I just abandon the manager account with inactive pixel?

Would really appreciate some help and advice.

Cheers
Sovah

Hi Sovah,

Hope you’re doing great.

Certainly! I understand that you’re facing some challenges with the ads manager and the recent auto update to the Facebook Commerce Manager. If so then I’d like to give you suggestions (I used them in my ads campaign for a website):

  1. Using the Facebook Commerce Manager for Campaigns: Yes, you can utilize the Facebook Commerce Manager for your campaigns. It can track important metrics such as visits to the landing page and provide valuable data insights. If your campaign objectives align with the features and capabilities offered by the Commerce Manager, you can proceed with using it.

  2. Inactive Pixel and Manager Account: It’s generally recommended to have an active Facebook pixel for effective campaign tracking and optimization. However, if your current ads manager account has an inactive pixel and you’re able to achieve your campaign objectives using the Commerce Manager’s tracking capabilities, you may consider using the Commerce Manager exclusively and potentially abandon the inactive pixel and manager account.

Before making a decision, ensure that the Commerce Manager meets all your campaign requirements and that it provides the necessary tracking and optimization options for your specific goals. Additionally, consider factors such as historical data, past campaigns, and any dependencies on the inactive pixel or manager account before abandoning them.

Remember, it’s crucial to regularly monitor the performance of your campaigns and adjust your approach based on the data and results you observe. If you have any further questions or concerns, it’s recommended to reach out to Facebook’s support or consult with a digital marketing professional for personalized advice based on your specific situation.

I hope this would help…
