Common Shopify Challenges I’m Seeing Lately — How Are You Handling These?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been spending a lot of time working inside Shopify stores and reading discussions here, and I’m noticing a few recurring challenges. Wanted to get input from people who’ve dealt with these in real projects.

1. Tracking & Attribution Issues
With things like Shop Pay (Pay in 3), checkout updates, and domain changes, how are you keeping Meta/GA tracking accurate?
Are you relying on Shopify’s native tracking or setting up more advanced solutions?

2. Inventory Tracking Without Over-Complication
For products that share inventory across variants (same product, different options), what’s the cleanest way you’ve handled stock tracking without making the setup messy?

3. Managing Large Product Image Libraries
For stores with hundreds or thousands of SKUs, what systems or workflows do you use to keep product images organized and consistent?

4. Competitor Monitoring
Do you actively track competitors (pricing, offers, ads), or do you find it better to focus purely on internal data and testing?

5. Improving Low Conversion Rates
For stores that were stuck below ~1% conversion rate, what change gave you the biggest lift — UX, speed, product pages, checkout, or something else?

Not selling or promoting anything here — just trying to understand what’s actually working for others in the Shopify ecosystem and learn from real-world experiences.

Appreciate any insights :folded_hands:
