Hi all,
I’m setting up a Shopify store right now for custom furniture. as of right now I have 300 products loaded all of which have 8 different wood types you can select from and different sizes (all the wood types have different prices). Along with being able to choose different wood types you can select what stain color you have on the piece of furniture. For each wood type the stains are different so I need to show different swatches for each wood type. I would like to have conditional logic so when i click on brown maple wood, only the brown maple wood type stain swatches show up and when I click on a diff type of wood, that type of woods stain colors show up. Because i can’t figure out how to do the conditional logic on Shopify I have to use an app and the satin swatches would have to connect back into my already set up wood types and prices in the Shopify store.

If you select a wood type a diff color swatch will show up. Hopefully someone can help or any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi so right now I have the sizes and wood types set up as variants in Shopify. I tried using the infinite options app to do the conditional logic swatches but it will not connect to my pre-existing variants in Shopify. For each piece of furniture I have the wood types of Brown maple, Hickory, Oak, Cherry, ect. set up in my store front. Each wood type has different stain colors you can choose from. I would like if you clicked on brown maple only that wood types stain samples would show up and if clicked on a different would type the stain samples would filter out with new ones. I’m trying to find an app or something that I can do conditional logic through an app that i can connect to pre existing Shopify variants.
Okay got it. so whenever customer click on brown variant then only Brown “finish” will be visible & if customer click on cherry then only cherry “Finish” will only visible.

Yes! I ended up downloading the app Avis product options and it’s working right now. I’m going to try it out for a bit but I do have some reservations about it. I would do create code myself but i have no clue how to.
