Configuring Two Different Google Merchant Feeds for 2 different markets

Hi guys,

I’m trying to configure two individual Google merchant center feeds for our eCommerce site which currently operates in two markets. Australia and New Zealand.

We use the Shopify markets function to sell in both countries online, and our pricing is different for both, beyond just currency conversions.

Because of this, we need two individual data feeds for the two different markets, with different pricing. We currently have one feed set up for Australia using the Shopify API. We are also under an advanced account so we have separate accounts for AU and NZ.

We now need to set one up for NZ, which is what I need help with. We have custom shipping rules which are integrated with our ERP system. I’ve downloaded this app https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds and can set up a feed for NZ, but it pulls the shipping settings from Shopify, rather than our ERP rule. I’ve contacted the app developers, and they suggest configuring the shipping manually in GMC. Unfortunately, the shipping isn’t simple, and calculates based on location/weight.

Any other suggestions on how I can achieve this? And if this was the suggested solution, how could I configure the GMC shipping rules easily?

From my experience, there are zero data feed apps that can pull 3rd party data. However, if your shipping app, submits product level data using metafields, then you can import it.

Otherwise what you want to achieve is not possible.

You can try to mimic the shipping details using the settings explained here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069284?hl=en

I would be interested to hear if you ever discovered a solution for your requirement to generate Google merchant feeds for your two markets, Australia and New Zealand. We have developed Google product data support for over 50 different international markets and have addressed differences in shipping costs along with a number of other issues. If you still need help, we would be happy to take a look at a sample of the data from your ERP system and your existing Google product data.
