On my Shopify website, users can order goods without logging in.
On the shopping cart page they will be asked to enter their address, email id and phone number.
But there is NO WAY to confirm whether the entered email id and phone number are correct.
Is there a way to force the user to enter the email and phone number twice - maybe by two boxes like Email Id and Confirm Email Id then Mobile Number and Confirm Mobile Number?
It is not possible to double-enter phone numbers or email addresses to verify them on Shopify. To make sure the entries match before checking out, you can do this using custom code or utilize an app that provides form validation.
To collect email and phone numbers before checkout using Klaviyo, you can
create a dynamic popup that appears when the basket icon is clicked. This
popup collects and verifies customer information without forcing
registration, integrating seamlessly with your Shopify store for a smooth
user experience.
If we use Klaviyo pop up, then will the shopping cart use the same verified email id without asking the user to enter the email again in the shopping cart? If the system asks again in the shopping cart area then they may enter it wrong as there is no confirm box.
Using a Klaviyo pop-up to collect emails won’t automatically sync the
verified email to Shopify’s checkout unless you integrate Klaviyo with
Shopify. If integrated, the email may be auto-filled at checkout. If not,
customers will still need to enter their email manually, so providing clear
instructions or adding validation can help prevent errors
