I’m transitioning from Squarespace commerce to Shopify which is not live yet. I want to make sure connecting FB and IG to Shopify will not show any of my products yet until I’m ready to launch. Thanks!

Welcome to Shopify and hope the transition from your previous platform has been a smooth one. Have you already had a chance to check out our general checklist when starting up on the platform? This can help you prepare your store for launch and ensure you have your shipping, payments, business information and domain all setup.
In regards to setting up the Facebook Sales Channel and connecting your Facebook and Instagram to Shopify, your products will begin to sync to Facebook. This process can take up to 48 hours so I would recommend doing this step just before you’re ready to launch.
