I have still not gotten a solution as of yet
Topic summary
Goal: push one Shopify store’s product catalog to a second Instagram account for shoppable posts (not just display Instagram on the storefront). The built-in Shopify Facebook/Instagram channel appears to support only one account/catalog connection.
Early replies suggested storefront Instagram feed apps, which the OP clarified don’t solve catalog syncing. A request for updates showed the OP still lacked a solution.
Latest update (workaround shared by another user): No XML feed needed. Use Meta Business Suite (Facebook’s business tools) instead.
- Put both Instagram accounts under the same Meta Business Manager with admin permissions and ensure the business is verified.
- In Shopify’s Facebook & Instagram channel, add the second Instagram account in settings.
- Verify the store’s domain in Meta Business Suite via the meta tag method (add the provided tag to the Shopify theme head).
- In Business Suite, create/manage the new Shop, choose product source (manual or automatic), publish, and wait for Facebook review.
- Result: one Shopify store can tag products on two Instagram accounts.
