My Shopify will not connect to Facebook and Instagram. It used to, but now it is telling me that I disabled the Facebook and Instagram channels. When I try to click connect, it doesn’t even highlight connect. When I click the " take action to fix this problem " button, I keep getting a broken link message. I have tried everything. Depending on how long ago your store was connected to Facebook and Instagram, there is a new integration called Facebook and Instagram by Meta so you may need to set up your Facebook and Instagram sales channels again. We’d also recommend reviewing the basic requirements and eligibility to ensure that you don’t run into any issues during the setup process. If you’ve already installed the Facebook and Instagram by Meta integration and the issue continues to persist after checking over the requirements, then it looks like we’ll need to access your account in order to resolve the issue. It started to work, I realised that the sharing information button was turned off, it connected and now its disconnected again. I have the new FB page format and I have tried to sort it out from the Meta Business Suite. Sales channels won’t connect, it stays grey. I can’t get it right. Hours spent on such a stoooopid thing. Help!

If the Facebook and Instagram by Meta integration is still not working, then I’d recommend getting in touch with us through the Shopify Help Center as we’re unable to access your account via the Shopify Community. From there, our support team will be able to assist you through live chats and provide you with account-specific support.

I’m trying to set up our store for our Facebook/Instagram page, but I’m getting the error message of: This account cannot be selected because you are not a business account administrator. Please select a different asset or ask the administrator to update the permissions.

the client has already given full access to the page and ad accounts but the error persists…how can I solve this problem? the strange thing is that even accounts and pages created by us are not being allowed access
