I subscribed to the starter plan as Shopify promoted it as being the easiest way to start selling on social media (Facebook & Instagram) but Facebook requires you to verify your myshopify domain before they allow you to connect your Shopify store to Facebook.
But the starter plan doesn’t allow you to edit the theme to place Facebook’s meta code into it or any of the other verification methods they provide, so how can one do this?
It’s impossible that Shopify would sell a product that doesn’t work, right? I’ve spoken to customer support on both sides and the solutions I have been getting are to upgrade my plan or buy a domain. Then why would Shopify sell a plan that doesn’t work?
