Hi we were one of the businesses who was apart of Painted Tree Boutiques. They randomly shut down all 60 stores on a random Tuesday and told everyone they have 10 days to remove their things. We won’t see any of our April sales or booth deposits because they filed Chapter 7. We are now opening our own Brick and Mortar.
The program they used to put in inventory, print barcodes, and view our sales was called Consignor Access. I can export all of our inventory into a CSV or Excel sheet where it will show product description, SKU, Retail Price, and Available inventory. I downloaded the Shopify Template under the Inventory section and copy and pasted our stuff into it and each time it failed. That was even after I put the items in the “Title” section with no spaces or capital letters. I also noticed the template they provide on the Inventory page doesn’t have a spot for retail price. Does anyone have any experience with transporting inventory from ConsignorAccess into Shopify? I’m needing the SKU to work because all our products are already labeled with barcode and prices. I have attached a photo of what it looks like in Excel. I thought it would be as simple as copy and pasting but it’s wanting me to put in Option1, Option2, and Option3 and so forth. I really just need the product description, SKU, retail price, and available units. I was told you could delete the other cells and it will work but I have yet to have it go thru. Can someone please help me and tell me what I’m doing wrong or if there is a template I can use that just has those items on it? I’m also willing to higher someone to transfer them from ConsignorAccess into Shopify. Like I said I don’t need photos or anything else I just need our current barcodes to scan and work.
Also the one template Shopify provides on the Inventory page doesn’t have a spot for cost or retail value. So if you were to upload your inventory how would it know the pricing and so forth? We are supposed to open on the 22nd and I have been failing the past week no matter how many videos I watch or different cells I fill in or templates i try.
Why can’t it be as easy as me copying and pasting what’s below into the Shopify system…
