Contact Me form not sending any emails to the Store Contact Email

  1. I created the “Contact Me” page as instructed in one of the Shopify tutorials, using Shopify’s contact template.

Online Store >> Pages >> Contact Me

  1. In Settings >> General >> Store Details, the store contact email has been set correctly to a valid email address at gmail.com.

  2. The form page displays fine and I’ve also tried using it to see if I get any emails back. I get the confirmation message “Thanks for contacting us. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.” But no emails have come to the store contact email, not even spam.

  3. I also tried changing the email to another email address of mine, but no luck there either.

Can you please help fix this issue because my customers are complaining about not getting any replies from the business on their attempt to contact me.

I suspect this may be theme-related given that you’ve tried a number of emails with no success. I would recommend contacting Shopify Support as the advisor you connect with can reach out to our Technical Support to confirm if this is theme-related. If its theme related and you’re using a third-party theme, then contacting the theme developer will be the next step. If it’s a Shopify-free theme, then our themes team can help troubleshoot this further.
