I’m fed up with going around in circles trying to contact support!
why is there no support yet says 24/7???
My clients site has decided to lump all products in all collections - I’ve tried deleting them and restarting and whilst that help some of them for a little while - it’s all back again.
1000 of products in one small collection is crazy - I can’t go through all collections and manually re-add all products.
I’m thinking this might be why but I’ve seen this come up before and there were no issues with the collections but does anyone know how to stop shopify ‘auto’ collection tags?
so here’s a link to a screen grab - can’t attach photos on here apparently!
I removed the inventory stock below 0 option and it’s fixed the mass products shoved on every collection - had to manually create collections. seems to have helped.
There’s two types of collections in Shopify - manual ones (being where you choose what products are within it) and automated ones (being where the products are included based on attributes).
What you’re seeing in that image is a series of collections that have been created on the store. The mug will have some property (such as title or vendor) that has matched the conditions. If you don’t want that item to appear in that collection then adjust the matching rules that someone set up on it.
