Copy "Product Tags" to "Customer Tags" when an order is submitted

Hi,

I am new to Shopify and am trying to understand if one requirement is possible.

On all of our products (Artists’ Prints) we have tags if it’s related to Water, Aerial, Landscape, etc.

When a customer purchases a print or prints, I would like to copy the product tags of all the purchased prints (can be one or multiple) and would like to copy the tag values to the “Customer Tag”.

Anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

I tried using the automation feature but I believe the original “tags” in the workflow are referring to Order tags and not product tags.

If you’re not able to find a way to do it with Flow, you can do it with Order Automator. It has a bunch of automation features, one of them being tag an order / customer.

You create rules, so you could create a rule like IF order contains products with tag X, add tag X to the customer.
