what files do I need to copy from the template?

Thanks.

@Elailll This is an advanced customization the forums are not meant for a full blown guided transplant process.

Seeking help needs to singular scoped questions , such as where you’d show your work so far for some small issue that’s replicable by others.

To DIY in general you will need to go into that themes code editor and look in the sections folder for the relevant sections.

Not all sections are named exactly as the display name that shows in the visual theme editor.

And that does not guarantee you will transplant everything, as assets , CSS or javascript may be in other files.

Hey! Yes, I can help you with that. To copy the first homepage section from the ToyTime theme, which includes the 3D Slideshow, Shop By Category, Shop By Age, and Top Brands, you’ll need to access the theme code by going to Online Store, then Themes, and selecting Edit Code for the ToyTime theme. The sections you’re referring to are likely built using custom Liquid files inside the “Sections” folder. Look for section files related to the slideshow and category grids; they might be named something like slideshow. liquid, featured-categories. liquid, or similar. You should also check the “Snippets” folder in case those sections rely on reusable components, and don’t forget to copy any CSS or JavaScript used to style or animate these blocks from the “Assets” folder. Once you’ve copied those files into your new theme, you can open the Theme Editor and re-add those sections to the homepage, adjusting the settings and images as needed to match the original design. If you’re not sure which exact files to copy, you can preview each section in the editor to identify their filenames, or I can help you narrow them down. Let me know how it goes

Hi @Elailll ,

Are you using the same theme for 2 stores, or what are you looking for?

Please explain more about it

Can I send you the template I want to copy from? And tell me which files I need?

Hi,

i have another theme in my store.

i want to copy some sections from this home page theme to my theme.

can I send you the theme i want to copy from? and tell me which files i need?

Thanks

Hi @Elailll ,

If it is 2 different themes, it will work with 2 separate mechanisms, so you can not copy this.

If it is the same theme, this will also need to be the same version. Please send me the names of the 2 themes and the 2 files you want to copy, I will check it
