I had a customer order an item that was from Shewin. The order came through Trendsi as Shewin stock was low. However, when the order got to Trendsi, it was accepted but then I had to call the customer to tell them it was actually out of stock. This was embarrassing. Why doesn’t Trendsi sync with our sites to take off items when they are out of stock?
We are sorry that you experienced this. We call it “unable to fulfill” order internally and we are able to control the % of the issues < 1%.
Unable to Fulfill is a very common issue in the dropshipping world, especially if you have used CJ dropshipping or other platforms. All inventory on those platform are virtual (meaning not accurate). They will only check the inventory with the supplier when an order comes in.
However, at Trendsi we are trying to resolve this issue by showing you accurate inventory (even though its low) and we can restock fast. We build real-time tech integration with different ERP so that we can accurately send the correct inventory to you when it changes. However, the tech is not perfect and most importantly sometimes the inventory we receive from some of our manufactures is incorrect. (yes the manufacture could make a mistake too)
It will be extremely hard to resolve the issue 100% but we will try our best to continue to lower the “unable to fulfill” cases
