Correct Shipping Price NOT Being Correctly Automatically Selected

Hi!

www.TheOnceDeadArtist.com - Dawn Theme

I’ve set-up Flat Rates for Shipping (0-$149.99: $9.99 / $150+: Free). BUT, when I go to place an order (regardless of the price) BOTH Flat Rates come up and are able to be selected by the customer).

How can I set it so if the orders fall beneath $150 or are $150+ the correct shipping rate will be automatically selected/applied?

Thanks so much!

Hi @Lonni ,

To fix this, you need to re-review your shipping rules & conditions. You need to set both a minimum AND maximum price for your rates so that the shipping shows up only in a specific range. So, if you want the rates to show up correctly, make sure to do the following:

  1. Go to settings > shipping and delivery.

  2. Under the “shipping” box, click “manage”.

  3. Scroll down and click the three dots next to "Flat Rate (orders up to $149.99) and select “Edit rate”.

  4. (If you havent already selected it), choose “add conditions”.

  5. Select the option “Based on order price”.

  6. For the minimum price, put “0” and for the maximum price, put $149.99. Then click “Done”.

  7. Repeat steps 3-5 for the other shipping rate.

  8. Where it says “maximum price”, add $150. Do not add anything in the minimum box.

  9. Click “Done” then “Save”.

This should resolve your issue. Best of luck

David, I tried to do as you suggested and while it seems to work I’ve got another problem: When I hit the $150 threshold, the store gives me an error stating the product can’t be shipped to where I’m at. $149.99 and below I don’t get that error. Here are the screen shots where I made the changes and the one of the error.

Any suggestions (including where I might have made a mistake) would be GREATLY appreciated.

Lon

David, I finally figured out how I needed to change the condition.
