My website billed my bank account for one of my relative’s purchases. Do you think it is because I have the same billing address as they do?
Hi, @GadgetTech . I’m happy to look into this with you! I just have a few questions to make sure I fully understand and give you accurate advice.
- Can you tell me more about what happened? Do you mean that your relative placed an order on your website and instead of them being billed for the order, you were billed? Or did something else happen?
- Where are you seeing this charge? Is it showing this somewhere in your Shopify Admin or did you notice the charge by looking at your bank account statement?
Once I have more information I’ll be able to share more advice on this. You may also want to reach out to our live support team here as they would be able to authenticate your account and review your account’s billing and orders with you in more detail. You can follow these steps to request support:
- Start on this page.
- Log in to your account.
- Select a topic most related to your question.
- Continue to the support options listed under the suggested articles and guides.
I’m looking forward to your response. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!
Hello, yes! So the relative that bought from my store has been charged. I’m not really sure what happened but I looked at my bank account transactions and I saw that my website has also charged me for the same price that they bought my products for, although I already paid for the Zendrop payment which should have been the only charge, if I assume correctly. And yes, I noticed this in my bank account statement. I do have pictures if necessary.
