Hi, I am looking for an expert or someone who has experienced the same problem as mine. Since I changed my plan from the Grow plan to the Basic plan, the country or market selector that should appear immediately to the left of the page selector has suddenly disappeared. I have tried several steps, including checking the market settings, adding other countries, and contacting Shopify Support, but none of these measures have resolved the issue.
It has now been almost a week without a solution. Please, I really need prompt assistance.
Just FYI, about four months ago I always edited everything under Store Default. At that time, I suddenly found that my latest edits were reset to the initial version of my theme. I was shocked, and after checking further, I discovered that all of my recent edits had been shifted to the Indonesia market. I never intentionally created a separate Indonesia market theme. I never activated or configured a separate Indonesia layout, a separate Indonesia template, or a separate Indonesia theme override.
Suddenly, after changing my plan from the Grow plan to the Basic plan, the country selector disappeared.
One of the support team members told me that this happened because of the plan change, explaining that the market selector is only available on the Plus and Advanced plans.
I kept explaining the same points.
–> First, I was using the Grow plan (not Plus or Advance) and the market selector was visible for 3 months.
–> Second, there are no significant differences between the Grow plan and the Basic plan, especially regarding inventory locations and the market selector.
–> Third, many other users have experienced the same issue, and so far no specific solution has been found.
Based on this, I can conclude that it is purely a system error from Shopify.
It has been a week without any solution. Two specialists have been working on this for several days, and I have been spending a lot on ads that are still running and cannot be stopped.
I am losing both time and marketing costs because of this error. I am not paying 25 dollars per month for this kind of handling, so please Shopify, I really need your help to fix this technical issue and 1 week compensation for my store at least. :))
