Country specific Pricing

I’m in the process of moving our store across to Shopify. One very useful function that was introduced on Etsy is Country specific pricing, the slight offset %'s goes along way to support fair pricing across the site for all customers.

Is there a way, that either I can do ( or I am willing to hire a person ) to display the prices in any country other than the UK at a different % of the set retail product cost? In our case we need the prices to be 20% more than set.

E.g UK price £9.99 USA $14.38 allowing for the increase in price and currency conversion at $1.20 → £.

It would also be good if the International price could be psychologically priced within this rule, e.g round to closest 99 cents, so $14.38 becomes $13.99.

All help much appreciated !

Hi,

You can do this by setting up Shopify Markets. In Settings → Markets

  1. Create a new market

  2. Add countries

  3. Add products and pricing

  4. Add shipping profile

Thanks Gaurav, I appreciate you pointing me in the correct direction.

Is there a way of implementing the other required function ? I can’t see an option for that.

Hi Paul, As far as I know that would require some custom coding work. I dont know of any other options for that.

Thanks for your response, I’m new to setting up a e-commerce website, its a mine field !!

How would some one go about finding someone to write the correct code for this and I would imagine I will need other tweaks going forward…

Ideally on this community market place also you will be able to find Shopify Partners who can help with this.

Thanks for the direction, I find it difficult to navigate to Products and pricing.
I can only only see the country and some other things but can’t find where to edit the prices.

Can you lead me please?
