Really need this fixed asap. Someone please help!
This has happened with 2 customers now. After they made the payment post applying the welcome discount coupon of 10%, they were shown an additional pending payment of XX amount which included INR 180 shipping fee which we charge only for COD orders but this was a prepaid order and also the 10% discount amount of ZZ.
We are on dawn theme and use Razorpay magic checkout and so we reached out to them. Their response was as below:
*So even though the coupon was applied and we received the discounted amount, the coupon which was applied was not sent. So when the system placed the order, it searched for the coupon code which was applied since the amount paid was less than the product price. Since no coupon was received, the system assumed it was a partial COD order and then placed the order as COD even though the customer made the prepaid payment. We recommend reaching out to Shopify on why the coupon code was not sent to the Frontend cart which caused this issue.
