Hi… I issued a discount coupon code to a specific customer that places orders with me regularly. It has worked fine until this week. The customer used it once this week & it worked and then tried it again and got this message… “(discount code name) discount code isn’t available to you right now”. A few days later, they get the same message. Please help!

I chatted with someone on Shopify. When I accessed the chat, it let me know that it would be 45 minutes until someone was available, so I walked the dog to deal with the time. He figured out by looking at the website back end that my customer needed to put their email address in at checkout before adding the coupon code. I passed that along to my customer. I expect this to work.
