Where do we put the CPF/CNPJ number to pass customs? I am unable to print a lable for an order to Brazil because of this alert

Shopify’s checkout will automatically collect CPF/CNPJ numbers when your customer uses a Brazilian address.

If you’re using a draft order, the option to add the number will be available after you save the draft.

A couple of caveats to keep in mind:

  • Accelerated checkouts like PayPal don’t enforce these additional fields, so customers using those methods can skip them.
  • You can’t edit a CPF/CNPJ number after an order is placed. If a customer enters it wrong, you’d need to cancel and have them reorder.
