Craft Theme: Customizable, Responsive Image Slideshows

I’m using the most recent version of the Craft theme (v 15.2.0), and I’d like to be able to add a bunch of clickable slideshows to my site (rotating sales banners, announcements, etc.). Ideally, my requirements would be as follows:

a) works with one or more images

b) customizable URLs per image

c) responsive (distinct images served to desktop and mobile)

d) customizable alignment (center, left, or right)

e) customizable size (full width or fixed)

How to I edit slideshow.liquid, etc. to accomplish all of those goals?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Well all of these will require a good amount of adding/modifying code in the slideshow file.

I figured – was hoping someone might want to walk me through it…?

Your requirements aren’t too hefty but not very basic either to walk you through. It does need some modifications to the code file to let you add customizable links to your images, rotating announcement, etc.

So this one is a bit time taking and walking you through with every process will just take more time and obviously I as a developer expect payments for my time and effort.

I would Certainly like to walk you through and explain everything so that you don’t need necessarily come asking for help everytime but the explanation is after completing all the requirements.

Hope this sounds not bad. Please reach out via mail for a convenient conversation and collaboration.

Thanks for reaching out! I decided to thread the needle another way – I found an inexpensive Shopify app that enabled me to do all of the above with very little effort. I appreciate your response, though!

What’s is more better than actually getting a solution for your requirements, ri8??

Anyways good luck with it, your store and your business.

Dear Mecreative, would you be so kind as to let me know the name of this app?

It’s called “CS: Clickable Banner Slideshow” – https://apps.shopify.com/clickslide-clickable-slider
