Hi all - After spending quite a lot on trying to fix the issue on the Craft theme I was not able to do it and I’m looking for some guidance. I have a store where some products can have more than 20 variants. When the product loads, it loads a default product which is fine.
When I open the first dropdown menu, I see that are some options that are “not available” (no disponible) which are correct since my inventory in those is 0
However, when I open the second dropdown menu, all the options (except for the one that is loaded in the initial load) are marked as “not available” (no disponible) which is not right.
I also was expecting the dropdown menus to be behave in any direction. What I mean with this, is that if I start by selecting a reference instead of the color, the color should change according to the variant linked to that reference. I’m looking for some guidance because I was not able to fix this by my own.

Looking at the screenshot, it is very confusing to me and your users on what exactly are my options. I think you should change it to something that is easy to understand what variants and colors you have for that specific product. Something like this design:

Also to answer this current issue here, we would need access to your store and see how you have structured your variant and inventory levels you have and what code is rendering that so it’s sort a hard to get an exact answer to your issue here without store access.
I have a very niche store which users know what they actually need (not all products have these many variants so I’m not concerned about the usability). Also, the issue with the theme, is that even when people select an image, the dropdown menus don’t update according to what the picture they have selected.

It’s honestly very hard to fix the issue without having access to the store itself. I could look the code and give you what code to add but I don’t even have the url. And you might not know where to add the code, hence the issue.
The only fast and easy way to solve is you either hire a Shopify partner like us to fix it for you or you have to solve it by hiring a developer or do it yourself. Sorry that’s the hard reality in Shopify.

Hi @julopez_cartel linked-variant-options, bidirectional, etc is an advanced theme customization.
In pretty much every theme all the subsequent options are based on the first option, if the first option is unavailable so are all the others.
Most users should be able to intuit there current selection is invalid and just move on.
Think it through carefully about how users behave: if the first option is not available do you want to communicate that selecting subsequent options would somehow make the first option available
