Craft theme slideshow customization (disable pause when hover + responsiveness customization)

Hello! I have two question about the slideshow:

1. How to disable the slideshow pause when hovering on it? since I plan to make our slideshow big, it is very likely that customer’s mouse will be hovering on the slideshow most of the time which make it never autoplay.

2. When user narrowing the browser width on desktop view, how to make it slowly cut the sides (right and left) instead of downscaling the slideshow with its original ratio?

This is Uniqlo’s and my store template when in a wider browser view.

And this is Uniqlo’s and my store template in a narrower browser view.

(see how Uniqlo’s slideshow image is cut, but mine just get smaller. How to make mine looks like Uniqlo’s?)

Hi.

1. Usually, the slideshow plugin has an javascript option to enable the pause when hover.
2. The image depend on the css you made, at this point, I suppose you want dynamic width and adjust height for the slideshow. and yes. that is possible.
