Create a customer segment based on an active subscription for a specific product

I see a way to create a customer segment that includes all customers with any active subscription (product_subscription_status = Active). Is there a way to define a segment that includes only customers who have an active subscription to a specific product?

Thank you for the quick reply and constructive information. I was hoping there was a way to accomplish this without 3rd-party apps – just with Shopify (or free Shopify apps), via Admin. Not possible? Seems like a weird limitation.

Easy. Every time a customer subscribes to a product, you can tag the customer. You can then create a segment and filter by that tag.

No reason to have private messages with a scammer. This is a public forum.

Would the tagging be accomplished via Flow? Presumably, there would have to be a bookended un-tagging when the customer’s subscription ends for any reason. Obviously, I was hoping for a non-procedural method that simply allowed segmentation based on an active subscription to a specified product, but it seems clear that Shopify doesn’t provide that level of granularity for some reason.

Note that this won’t work, as it would incorrectly include customers who were once subscribed to the specified product, no longer are, but are now subscribed to a different product.

Yeah you can use Flow. Or manually in the Customer page. Whichever. I use Flow to add tags to products, to orders, abd customers. Yeah you would need to remove the tag when subscription ends, which can also be done with Flow.

I wouldn’t want to have to do anything manually, so it sounds like the most straightforward path involving only Shopify and Shopify apps is to use Flow to tag customers when they subscribe and to un-tag them when their subscription ends.

It’s not the best, not the most intuitive…

But I’ll tell ya. Flow… That thing is a workhorse. Imo, the best app or interface they have created for the average joe since, well, the theme editor..

I would add, the new “top down” layout sucks lol
